1. SAD is an integral part of Electronic Fuzes, providing mechanical safeties in addition to electronic safeties in the fuze. 2. The set-back force pushes the Detent down, while the centrifugal force makes the two detents retract, which unlocks the rotor gear making it free to move. Centrifugal force causes off-centre rotor mechanism to rotate, bringing the detonator in the line of fire. 3. The electronic trigger mechanism and micro electric detonator are amplified by the detonator set in the rotor.
